Next Meeting The next meeting of the Bernards Township Democratic Committee will be held Monday, March 2, 2008, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at the Bernards Township Public Library, 32 South Maple Street, Basking Ridge, NJ 07920. The focus at this meeting will be a discussion of the quarry issue. Monthly meetings are regularly the first Monday of each month, except for holidays. Previous Action Alert A few of our members went over to the Township Committee meeting this evening at exactly the time scheduled for the public comment period, but were told the Committee was in closed session, that they could not be allowed to speak because they did not come at the beginning of the meeting, 45 minutes earlier, and sit through patiently waiting for their turn.
